Register in person before April 11, 2014 at Golden Valley Park & Recreation, 200 Brookview Parkway S (hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm). After hours, you may drop your registration in the box marked "Utility" in front of City Hall .

Pre-registration fee is $25 if received before March 1 and $30 if received by Friday, April 11. T-shirts guaranteed to all runners pre-registered by March 1.
Race Day
Register at Brookview Community Center, 200 Brookview Parkway S, on race day between 7:00 and 7:45 am. $40

Race Packets

Pre-registered runners can pick up race numbers, chips, and long-sleeved T-shirts at Golden Valley Park & Recreation (200 Brookview Parkway S, 763-512-2345) on Thursday, April 10, 1:00 to 7:00 pm and Friday, April 11, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. All others can be picked up on race day beginning at 7:00 am.

Course

The chip-timed, certified race course runs a relatively flat loop through residential Golden Valley. Start and finish will be at Brookview Community Center, 200 Brookview Parkway S. Water stop and post-race complimentary snacks will be provided.

Race Results

Runners' times will be posted at the end of the race and posted on the Web at www.raceberryjam.com.

Awards

Medals will be given to the first place male and female runners in each age category (19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over) for both the 5K and 10K Runs. Walkers will not receive awards.

Golden Valley Human Services Fund

Mission

Identify the community's needs for human services.
Develop guidelines to evaluate funding requests and allocate to human service organizations that meet the identified needs of the community.
Determine funds needed and strategies to provide funding through charitable gambling proceeds, fundraisers, or community events.

Guidelines for Funding

The service provided is for Golden Valley residents at a time of crisis or need.
The services must not be duplicated by a level of government.
The service must include cooperation or collaboration between organizations.
Funding shall be granted to human service organizations and not tan individual or individuals.
Funding will not be granted to any organization licensed in the City for lawful gambling operations.

The Golden Valley Human Services Fund allocates money to the following organizations:

Suburban Northwest Dinner At Your Door (delivers lunch to people that need care)
PRISM (a local food shelf)
Crisis Nursery (infant protection)
Senior Community Service (older adults)
YMCA (youth programs)
